Kate brings a customer-focused approach to serving our clients as business development manager. Focused on the Manhattan community and higher education market, she serves as the conduit in connecting subject matter experts with clients and uncovering project solutions to deliver the best building experience.

Brie spent more than 15 years in higher education starting as a recruiter and steadily rose to a leadership role as the Vice President of Advancement & Marketing at Friends University. In 2021, she worked closely with McCownGordon Construction during the renovation of the Garvey Center on campus—a partnership that left a lasting impression. Drawn to the company’s culture of transparency and teamwork, she made the leap to join McCownGordon as Director of Business Development. A lifelong Wichitan, Brie is deeply committed to her city’s growth and vitality. She’s passionate about building meaningful partnerships with civic, corporate, and higher education leaders to create smart, customized solutions for their facility needs. Her approach is rooted in listening, understanding, and delivering with integrity.
