Project Case Study
The middle school serving sixth through eighth grade, features an athletic complex with a precast gymnasium, a masonry gymnasium, two synthetic turf baseball fields, two natural turf baseball fields, and a natural turf football field with track and field events. The athletic complex also serves as a district activity center.
East Trails Middle School has enhanced security measures, dynamic educational environments and flexible learning spaces.
Challenges during preconstruction included bidding three different packages. These packages consisted of a grading and utilities package, structural package and finishes package. The McCownGordon team worked closely with the owner to overcome these challenges.
