The modernization includes new classrooms, collaborative spaces, maker spaces, renovations to the existing performing arts areas and community-centered spaces to support the educational and extracurricular needs of students and staff. This state-of-the-art educational facility caters to approximately 800 students in grades 6 through 8.

The auditorium was renovated for both school and community use. The building is connected to the existing middle school, which remained active during the renovation. The Pittsburg Community Middle School construction project represents a significant investment in the future of Pittsburg’s community and enhancing the learning experience for students.
