The SkyHaven Terminal & Flight School, located at the University of Central Missouri’s SkyHaven Airport, serves as the training facility for UCM’s nationally recognized aviation program. Additionally, it operates as the community airport for Johnson County, MO, supporting general aviation and fixed-base operations.

The new facility enhances aviation education and operations with distinct yet interconnected spaces:

  • General Aviation Terminal: Features a welcoming reception area, history gallery, dispatch center, administrative offices, workrooms, conference rooms and support spaces.
  • Fixed-Base Operations (FBO): Provides a dedicated line service counter, supervisor office, pilots’ lounge, quiet room, flight planning area and restrooms.
  • Flight School: Designed for an optimal training environment with 30 flight instruction offices, a dispatch counter, student lounge, classroom space and offices for instructors and program leadership.
