Real World LEarning Center

Our team collaborated with the Hickman Mills School District to transform a former office building into the Real World Learning Center. This ambitious, two-phased project repurposed the 33,400 SF existing space into a dynamic, multi-use facility designed to empower students and strengthen the community. The center offers specialized courses, student-run initiatives like a coffee shop, and opportunities for community events and after-school programs, fostering learning, growth, and collaboration.

Building and Grounds Warehouse

The Building and Grounds Warehouse project involved constructing a 12,000 SF maintenance facility with an additional 2,350 SF dedicated to office space. This facility was built using a pre-manufactured Engineered Metal Building (PEMB) system, ensuring durability and efficiency.

Burke Elementary Renovations

Renovations to Burke Elementary were also significant, with the project split into three phases, totaling up to 46,000 SF for the existing school. These renovations aimed to enhance the learning environment, providing modernized spaces for students and staff.

Through these projects, Hickman Mills C-1 Schools are committed to creating a supportive and enriching educational environment, ensuring that students have access to the resources and opportunities they need to succeed.
