The project includes substantial interior renovations of administrative offices, meeting rooms, and support spaces, along with redesigned entrances and new site amenities, enhancing the functionality and aesthetics of this important community asset. It also incorporates special considerations for life safety and security, including a fire detection and suppression system, integrated access control, intrusion detection, and camera surveillance security system.

Building on our successful partnership with the City of Independence, exemplified by projects like the Independence Uptown Market and Communications Center, we proactively engaged in the assessment of the Municipal Commons project even before formally joining the team. Our early involvement focused on budget development, logistics planning and schedule optimization. As the construction manager, our team’s top priority is maximizing the City’s investment by delivering exceptional value and efficiency, identifying cost savings and maximizing return on investment.
