McCownGordon was founded in 1999 with the idea that the industry was ready for a different kind of construction company.

Instead of focusing solely on materials like concrete and steel, founders Pat McCown and Brett Gordon set out to build a team of go-getters who believed in doing business transparently and who valued building long-term relationships.

From inception, it was their mission to ensure every employee embodied the core values of integrity, performance and relationships, and that those values wouldn’t just be words on walls. This company culture in Kansas would underpin our approach to everything.
