Swope Health acknowledged the need to provide better access to health and wellness services closer to home for citizens 55 years and older. The new PACE KC Swope Health – Adult Wellness Center serves as a state-of-the-art health and wellness facility for the citizens of Jackson County, Missouri.
This facility is the first and only, PACE program in Jackson County. The 33,340 SF facility will provide clinical spaces for primary care, medical services, and other therapies as well as a day center, rehabilitation gym, computer lab, library, craft room, bathing suite, memory care and outdoor recreation spaces. McCownGordon and LM2 Construction were selected to continue their partnership with Swope Health to bring their largest capital investment in two decades to life.
The second floor was also built out to be used as corporate office space. Located adjacent to the Swope Health Central Campus, the two-story adult wellness center will create a significant impact on the community for decades to come.
